Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) has improved its position both internationally and nationally in the current Shanghai Ranking (Academic Ranking of World Universities). In the international ranking, FAU surged 17 places ahead to 226th place (previous year: 243). In Germany, FAU climbed two places and now holds 15th place (previous year: 17).
In the international QS-Ranking (Quacquarelli Symonds) the Department of Mechanical Engineering reaches TOP 10 in national and TOP 200 in the word wide ranking.
